Driver’s license vision screening

Avoid the queues at the licensing department and come in to our stores for your driver’s licence vision certificate. This certificate can be used for a learner’s licence, driver’s licence or a driver’s licence renewal. We assess your visual acuity (ability to see) and your visual fields (peripheral vision), to ensure you have the correct visual requirements for driving. A fee of R100 for the certificate may be applicable.

Skippers / Pilots vision screening

Our Optometrists are able to assess vision and other requirements as necessary for vision reports for Skippers and Pilots.

Child vision screening

Preschool children’s basic vision facilities can be screened in order to detect any gross problems. (Please note that this does not take the place of a full visual assessment as it is only a screening procedure).
